Rewards in the photography business

Ce-Ce was so excited about getting his senior portraits.  He could hardly wait to get his prints.  He told me he just knew he was going to look good!  I probably didn't help when I kept telling him that during the session! :)  I thank God for sessions like Ce-Ce's!  It makes being in this business so rewarding!  Here are just a few of my favorites from his session which he also included in his folio.  Enjoy!

Aurelia and her cute puppy

I love small dogs.  Especially pudgy-faced ones.  Aurelia brought her dog with her to her session along with her friend, Liz.  It was an overcast cold day, so we only did a few shots outside but love the one of them with her dog.  Here are my favorites from her session.  Enjoy!

Liz Graduates from 8th Grade

8th graders are fun to photograph.  They aren't nervous like some seniors and they really get into their photo sessions.  Such was the session with Liz.  She is very photogenic as you can tell by the attached pics which are my favorites from her session.  Enjoy!

8th Grade Graduate Boy

I admire this young man.  When he placed his order, he wanted to make sure that the proofs his pastor liked were ones he ordered.  His brother who came along really had me fooled.  When we were going back to the house after the outdoor session, he made a horse sound that sounded so real, I just knew it was one of my horses!

The following pics are my favorites from his session.  Enjoy!

A High School Senior Guy

It's refreshing to gets guys to photograph after doing mostly girls!  Chris is a pretty quiet guy.  My husband was helping me with this session, holding the reflector outside.  Every once in a while he could get Chris to laugh. :)  Though he didn't choose any of his smiley ones for his package, I still think he looks good with that serious look!  Here are my favorites from his session.  Enjoy!

Fun with One-year-old Twins

Most of my customers are from word of mouth, but this client found us online.  Her husband was on R&R (rest and relaxation) for two weeks before he had to go back overseas.  I felt privileged to capture some precious family portraits of them and their twin boys.  I was happy that we were able to get 30 minutes out of the boys as they were full of energy!  Here are a few of my favorites from their session.  Enjoy!

Jaslyn The Graduate

I usually try to vary my backgrounds often but I stuck with my while tiled and the light blue one again as I thought it went so well with the yellow cap and gown.  Jaslyn is graduating from K-5 this year and her mom who is a regular customer of mine took advantage of the portrait special.  Didn't her mom fix her hair cute?  I've included my favorites from Jaslyn's session.  Enjoy!

Ysabela

What a look of innocence!  Our K5 portrait special was a short session to capture at least 3 poses with their package.  I took a few more to make sure we had some good ones!  I really love these four of Ysabela from her session!  Enjoy!

David, A Kindergarten Graduate

I have been wanting to reach out to the K5 Graduates at our Christian school this year so I ran a special.  David was a very cooperative little fellow.  Here are a few of my favorites from his session.  Enjoy!

Djaman's Session

I'm finally catching up on my blog posting.  Been a very busy season this year with graduates.  Djaman was an ideal client.  He knew how to pose and was fun to work with.  I've been wanting to try out our new hammock and Djaman was just the perfect fit for it! :)  Here are a few favorites from our session.  Enjoy!
